Mediation

Mediation provides a structure that enables people to move forward and resolve their conflicts.  While mediation requires more effort than going to court, it is far more rewarding to the parties.  Mediation requires that all parties come to the table open to listening and negotiating with one another.  The mediator acts as a facilitator, taking a neutral role in the process.

Cases appropriate for mediation:

    •  Custody issues
    •  Visitation issues
    •  Business disagreements
    •  Employee issues
    •  Family disputes or need for decision making

Leslie Kahn, LICSW, PIP is an experienced mediator working in family and business mediation since 1996.  In addition, Leslie has taught mediation for the EEOC, military, and Virginia Commonwealth University School of Social Work.
